Celebrating Conquered Fears

My younger son graduated from Grade School this year. Again another milestone post, three months later. But that's another story.

Graduation is always a milestone. But in Rago's case, the graduation is very significant. He almost dropped out of school in his second grade. If you clicked on the link and read the story, you would know that the climb back to normalcy was tedious, but we were glad that we were with him every step of the way.

Look at him now, he is as confident as he can be. He is into volleyball, basketball, and he loves going to school now. In fact, in the last quarter he got a 90 point average. He has the potential to succeed academically like his elder brother. They just needed some more push. I hope to give it to them starting this school year. *wink*

So in this graduation, he didn't get any awards but conquering his fears and overcoming his trauma are more than any other award there is.

We celebrated conquered fears.
