Head over to Midlife Mod later for the complete OOTD.
I start the day with meditation which includes praying, reading devotional and the Bible, and listening to worship songs.
Next, I take two glasses of water.
Then I'd shower and dress up, and get down to business.
At 12 noon, I'd take my first meal of the day.
Every morning, we have two choices to make: jump out of bed or roll over.
Several years ago, my mornings saw me jumping out of bed, rushing to the shower, grabbing the clothes I had prepared the night before, and hopping into the car and drove away. I had to beat traffic to get to the office in time.
Then about six years ago, I took the leap of faith to go homebased. That was when my mornings started to become much calmer.
To this day, I no longer jump out of bed but roll over and savor the blessing of a new day.

I can't recall the image source. This is an old photo (Jun 2016), which I labeled, New Toyota's 5S.
How do Mondays make you feel?
They always make me feel that I can make a fresh start; start anew.
I was sorting out my hard drive this morning and found this old photo in my Six Sigma folder. I am sharing it today, because I feel, I needed to do a 5S---both literally and figuratively. LOL
5S is a workplace organization method that uses a list of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seisō, seiketsu, and shitsuke. These have been translated as "Sort," "Set In order," "Shine," "Standardize," and "Sustain."
I can definitely apply this to my life right now!
Who is up for 5S?
Note: I am bringing back this Monday Work Mood series. You can find my past posts here.

I chose this photo because I looked scared and was about to flee! LOL
During this ECQ, I think I've never talked to as many people as I have in any other time of my life!
Cooped up at home for 65 days (wow, that long already?!), I long to connect physically to my friends, so there is more reason to keep in touch.
It's nice to reconnect with old friends and find out how they are doing, especially with this pandemic.
Different folks, different stories, and I learned a lot from their stories.
The saying which goes, "you never know what someone is going through, so be kind," is true.
Some stories, though, got me thinking: if you're unhappy, why stay?
If you're not happy with your relationship, why are you still in that relationship?
If you're not growing in your job---no more satisfaction, why aren't you looking for another?
If you are living paycheck after paycheck, are you enjoying it?
If you are stressed every day, aren't you afraid to wake up one day ill?
Ano ka masochista?
I know it's easier said than done, but I grow up believing that each one of us always has an option.
It has been true for me all these years. I think I have options, so I have options. Remember what you think will happen, will happen.
That is what I tell my kids, too. If they run into some problems or have to make a decision, there's always a plan B. There's always a fall back. They shouldn't get stuck.
So, you, my dear reader, I am telling you now. If you are going through a tough time, if you feel that nothing is happening and you are stuck, you are not destined to stay there. You have a way out.

Also, I woke with this song in my head: Love on Top by Queen B! I don't know why. Ha ha!
Then I remember the time that I performed--or tried to outperform Beyoncé--yeah, lip-synced and danced (with costume and all!) to this tune in our company summer outing! Oh my!
I know, start of the week, and already as early as Saturday-Sunday, you already know the tasks that you needed to do. But still, we gotta do what we gotta do and do it wholeheartedly.
You may have noticed that of all my series posts here, it's the Monday Work Mood that I don't often miss. That is because I want to start my week accomplishing something, even if it's as simple and easy as publishing this kind of post. It's the next best wake-up to-do after making your bed every morning.
So, for this week, my thoughts veered toward working alone in a workplace. It gets lonely din pala. He he!
It's different from having a room for yourself but when you go outside, you have people to talk to, share ideas with, banter with, and share breakfast or lunch, or even dinner after work.
Although, I can work in my former office, being a remote worker now, but the thing with being a WAHM, it needs extra convincing to lure me and make me brave the rush-hour traffic. It's not like when you are really obliged to go to the office to work.
My leap of faith to work remotely and remembering the circumstances that surround that decision, still make my heart ache.
