This Life... on the Web

I changed my blog title / header today.

Why the new name?

#ChangeIsHere is the buzzword of the new administration, so I thought of jumping into the bandwagon. Ha ha!

Well, that's half true.

I've always wanted to move into the lifestyle blogosphere for quite sometime now. I just couldn't decide on the blog title... til this morning.

My kids have grown and they don't want me to talk about them or even photograph them and feature them on this blog anymore. Every time they celebrate a milestone or have those achievement-unlocked moments, they would always warn me, "Oops, mom, don't share it on Facebook, or blog about it ok?" "Ok. Ok!"

So, I thought, well, I guess it's a good time to talk more about my journey--being a mom is still a big part of that journey, of course--as my life has made a very unexpected turn. I felt like I have been thrown back to the far away past when I was just starting to build a career.

I find myself back at the shop floor... like a mad scientist wanting so hard to crack the code scrambling for the right mixture to be able to shout Eureka!

We'll see how this change goes.

  1. Change is always good! I like blogging and posting about my kids and I dread the day that they will tell me not to post things about them anymore. If that happens I will hardly be able to post anything. :)

    1. Ha ha! I have 2 teenage boys, that's why. They don't want to be teased by their friends perhaps. Enjoy it while you can. :)

  2. Been seing a lot of changes lately. Mr. President is such an influencer. Lol! Just kidding. For us Moms, we like to write about our kids but since they are growing and becoming more private. It will really come a time that they will no longer allow you to write about their lives. Lol! So, I'm gonna write about my kids while I still can. Hahaha!

  3. Oh teenagers! My son who's 5 is now very conscious when I take his pictures--he'd always ask whether or not I'd post it on Facebook. I guess when he turns 7, I have to stop my chasms about him na rin. My, they grow up so fast!

  4. Excited for you! Your reasons echo my own reasons why I left my old blog, Davao Mommy, and started a more personal, general lifestyle one. My son is still too young to complain but I don't think he would like his life to be an open book!

  10. I am having the same problem as you because my husband, though supportive, is not that keen on sharing via the internet EVERYTHING that is happening on our family life. He even told me not to post all the photos of our baby in my facebook account because what he wants is for us to buy a baby photo album and have the phots printed instead. Medyo old school sya. Haha!

  11. I like the color you've chosen and I think that the new "logo" is calling out for a new theme. It's okay to jump onto the bandwagon. The smart ones do. :)
