Renewed

The Lord is risen, Hallelujah!

Easter for Christians means a renewal. A rebirth. Which means a departure from the old life and be reborn to a new life.

Apart from the New Year when we come up with resolutions, for me, Easter is also a time to make resolutions---serious life resolutions that shake our very foundation.

We have confessed our sins, we have made sacrifices to make the process of discernment more meaningful.

So, what now?

I have reflected and I realize that I have been so focused on things that take me away from what really matters most in life. I had a difficult year, and I digressed. But I'm looking at a more positive year ahead.

My renewal will then be about a more prayerful life. A life that seeks God first each and every day.
