What is Your Pandemic Story?



It has been 18 months since the lockdown, how have you been? 

Just when we started to get excited because vaccines have been rolled out, yet, we get new variants of the corona virus. 

I agree when they say that we should not only remain hopeful but also we be patient.  I am positive this will pass, but we need to be patient until we ride this through. 

But what do we need to do while being patient?

I am sharing here what I do to cope and avoid feeling anxious. 


1. Think of something you look forward to. In my case, I dream of travel. Travel with family (thus, the photo I am sharing here) or travel to see family. This makes me excited and happy. 

2. Refrain from getting blow-by-blow updates of current affairs. The news is there and well, I just get the gist. Some news, I don't need to know. I need to protect myself. 

3. Think outside of yourself. Take a break from thinking of yourself. LOL. Yes, maybe funny, but when I do this, I get less anxious. I choose causes to support. Two of these that I am proud of are:


* I initiated a fund raising with my close high school classmates.  The objective was to help our fellow classmates who need critical care. We did two runs and both were successful. 

* I double the expansion of my wellness project outside Metro Manila (where I am based) and to overseas so I can help more families. It's just amazing that we have now reached Visayas and Mindanao and US, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Middle East. 


4. Keep yourself busy. I read, I play musical instruments (in fact, I wind down a long day with this), I blog, I work, I do business, I sing and dance, and TikTok! 

5. Connect to family and friends, even if virtually. 


Day 1 Minimalism challenge, Purge your wardrobe. Yes, perfect! I work from home and I hardly go out anymore, what do I need all these clothes for? That's why I refashion my OOTDs every day.
