"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.…" John 3:16
Once again, in this season of Lent, we are reminded of our sinfulness. But most of all, we are reminded of HOW MUCH the Lord loves us DESPITE our being sinners.
For who can love they way God does?
Who can love those who hurt /betray / trample on your pride / make you feel small and incompetent?
Who can love those who point a finger at you instead of extending a helping hand?
How do you love those who refuse your love?
How do you love those who are just difficult to love!?
How do you love those who refuse your love?
How do you love those who are just difficult to love!?
That is my everyday challenge as a follower of Christ. It is very difficult to love, especially those who are unlovable. I tend to focus on the hurt, and not on what that pain can do to make me a stronger person.
Yet, I persevere for the Lord shows me how to do it.
And despite my woundedness, the Lord continues to bless me with a strong family and friends support. In them, I have found a haven that no one can shake!
For God loves me so much...
